Enhanced models with time‐series coefficients used for electric arc furnace

Electric arc furnace (EAF) is one of the most disturbing loads in power system as it highly time-varying and nonlinear. In this paper, new models based on instantaneous EAF voltage current, recorded from EAFs Mobarakeh steel company Isfahan/Iran are proposed. The focus paper developing efficient Schwarz model where three modified types original has four constant parameters. Unlike which uses invariant parameters, nature arc's parameters considered proposed models. first two orders coefficients. Additionally, to further enhance model's accuracy, second model, six include orders, coefficients exist. third all time-series derived using autoregressive moving average (ARMA) accuracy evaluated by calculating active power, harmonics, flicker, short-term flicker. Finally, MATLAB codes provided generate time series.
